I am currently working on investing more into Medium and the strategies I need to apply to become successful. I have made a few thiusand dollars my first year, been publishing with several bigger publications, but these days it sometimes feels like I’m submitting aricles to a black hole.

It can be a mix of many things.

A) my writing sucks

B) a stricter publish policy is here.

I’ll keep writing and adapt cause what else can you do? Will be interesting to hear about the experiences people have with news break in a few months.

A final note. Medium is harder to read cognitively these days. I read way less because it is harder to get to the material I want to read. The endless scroll vs thumbnail view makes me quit after looking through 2–3 articles. Too much scrolling and too much text. It clutters the reading experience for me.
