I think it is important to also compare these headphones to some higher class ones as they are so pricy. For $500 you are looking at some mid range Ultrasones.

I get that we compare them to the Sony and Bose because of the similarities, but when they are this expensive, we have to compare it to other headphones in the same price range as well.
