Thank you for your insight. I think this is a bigger problem than we like to admit. Critical thinking seems to have been and replaced with consuming. It doesn’t help when you have new algoritms on Facebook so they serve you what they believe you would like to see. This means you are never presented both sides of the story.

This is happening in Norway as well and we can see two groups polarising by trying to mock the other group. I wrote an article about how this setup is all working under the hood:

In the future, we need to teach the upcoming generation about news and feeds. If you use your feed as your news source, we’re doomed. Also, if something doesn’t seem right, you need to be able to question it. Essential skills for our children. I don’t know if we should give up the grown ups or not yet. So far it seems like a waste of energy cause they are so far out already…
